BJ Emerson is an award-winning media innovator and published author passionate about creating flourishing storytellers. He is the founder and director of Buzzadelic, a Greenville, NC-based digital marketing and advertising agency. With a long career in technology and media, BJ’s experience includes film and video production, photography, as well as social media spanning both non-profit and commercial client work. He is considered a pioneer in social loyalty and location-based marketing, having led the deployment of the first-ever loyalty platform to feature an integration with Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare. BJ is the co-author of The Tasti D-Lite Way; Social Media Marketing Lessons for Building Loyalty and a Brand Customers Crave, published by McGraw-Hill in 2012, and his projects have been published as case studies in seven different books. In addition to his leadership at Buzzadelic, he periodically serves as a Teaching Instructor at East Carolina University in the School of Art and Design.

Nuke is currently pursuing his MBA at East Carolina University with a background in Marketing and Finance. As a Digital Marketing & Advertising Coordinator, he supports SEO updates, content creation, and analytics for clients. He enjoys using his creativity and marketing skills to help clients strengthen their online presence and connect with their audiences.
